South Africans,

My name is Petrus Phakamile Sitho, I am the leader of PPS Stop Farm Killings SA.

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has supported me, with accommodation, food, and donations, to those who have always sent words of encouragement, or come out and shown your support.  You are the reason, we are here, you have given me the strength to move forward, to keep fighting our farmers and farm workers, all races, White, Coloured, Indian, Khoi San.  Our Rainbow nation, the reason why we need to protect our farmers, is because without them we have nothing.  We need to secure our food security!  To stand against the evil that is consuming our country.

Let’s take a look back from 2018 (when I started this journey) up to the end of 2022.  My goal has always been to raise awareness of the Farm attacks and killing, to ensure our food security, and to challenge the Government on their lack of accountability, and denial that Farm Attacks happen in our country.

• 10 September 2018 – My first Memorandum issued to the Government

Stop the farm attacks and killing of our farmers

As a result, they tried to silence me, they tried to have me killed, but with God’s protection they failed.They then offered me R300,000.00, and a position as an MP in Parliament.

I decline their all of their offers

• 2019 we were planning and preparing for our next project, but had to put it on hold due to financial constraints.  We simply did not have the funding or sponsorship.

• 2020 – We attended the court case for Brendon Horner in support of his family and our farmers.

We went to visit Brendon Horner’s family and interviewed them.

The farmers came together for Brendon Horner’s court case, and were attacked by the EFF.

• 13 May 2021 – We were the first to walk from East London to pray outside Phala Phala farm, and then Arthur Fraser exposed the President in 2022. From Phala Phala farm we continued to walk to the Union Building and slept outside for 3 days. To get the attention of the President and the Minister of Police.  We asked a National Rural Safety Summit, which eventually happened on the 27th & 28th of June 2022 in Parys.

• 2022 - PPS Stop Farm Killings SA is a part of the National Rural Safety Committee in Bheki Cele’s Head Office.

14 February 2022 we attended the State Of the Nation, there was no mention of the Farm attacks or farm killings.

We have continued sending letters to the President, and the Minister of Police.

14 October 2022 we went to Union Building in Pretoria for a Freedom March.Where we issued the Government with a memorandum, and we hand delivered the letter that we had been sending Bheki Cele.To date, our emails to Bheki Cele are ignored.

11 November 2022 – We started our “Walk to Raise Awareness of Farm Attacks & Killings” from East London to Randfontein 16 December 2022

13 December 2022 – We went to Cyril Ramaphosa’s Impeachment hearing, the police forcefully removed all who were peacefully protesting outside.

• To date 2020 – We continued following up with the victims / survivors of farm attacks, and we have seen the crime scenes, the brutality of these attacks, the torture, the rape of women and children, the men and women who bravely tried to protect their families, and have lost their lives.

We have been interviewed locally and internationally.  Finally, our voices are being heard.  But we have to continue this fight for our Farmers and Farm Workers, so that our children will have a future in South Africa.

We have faced hardships, difficulties with sponsorships, and donations, a vehicle that is unreliable, but we have not given up!  We will continue to fight, but please, we need your support.
